Trick or Treat banner sign

I used my cricut to cut the banner and letters, glittered the black letters with white glitter, and glittered the balck spider with green glitter. I loved how the web and spider turned out. I do wish that you could see the black letters better...hmm, next time won't use the wild patterned paper? I also tired stringy yarn between the banners, instead of using a binding strip. Notice the spider paper? The spiders are velvety, I love it!

more neighborhood gifts

I forgot to add the glitter, which is an essential step, so I had to show you a picture of the final thing :) (above picture)

Well, as I mentioned before I had made over a thousand gift tags with my friend, since some of our neighbors overlapped, I made some other gifts too, I thought these were delicious candy bars!

For My SIL

I found a templeate for these ADORABLE shoes and had to make them for my SIL who is about to have a baby. I adapted it by putting eyelets in them. I made her the birhtday card too, which I made with my cricut. it took forever to get the frame cut out, it kept ripping in the machine b/c the paper was thin I think. I can't wait to make some more little shoes...girl shoes for those I know having girls!

What I've been making this Christmas season

For our Super Saturday activity for our women's night at my church, my friend and I selected cards and made them. Then if any of the ladies wanted to make them too, we showed them how to. In addition with the card set above, we also made a set of all occasion cards. We ended up having 24 sets of cards ordered, which mean that my friend and I ended up making 312 cards, since we cut all the paper and put them into kits. It was extremely hard work, and not something I'm willing to do again. (You live and learn ladies) Next time, if there is a next time, they can bring their own stuff and just use my embossing machine :) I haven't been able to take a picture of the all occasion cards yet, so when I get that done, I'll post them. I never did get to take a picture of the literally THOUSANDS of Christmas tags I made as neighbor gifts...maybe I can scrounge up some extras to show you how the tags looked. I put them in a cute little box with red and green yarn wrapped around the box to use to tie the gifts with.

Felt Food...Gold Fish

I've been totally inspired to make some felt food. I had a little felt left over from Tom the Turkey, and whipped up these little guys. I love them! I can't wait to make more when I buy more felt. I may be rebellious and make them orange since I have a bunch of that left over. We'll see.

Tom the Turkey

I saw something similar to this in a Terry's Village catalog several years ago. It was too expensive for my taste, so I thought "I could just make that." five years later I finally finished it. He looks a little silly. I lost patience with him because my sewing machine broke three times and I had to take it apart to fix it! Thank goodness I had finished most of the work years earlier. So here's to one more thing I had sitting around that I actually finished! Yeah! Christina thinks he's really cute and wants to keep it on her bed. Thank goodness someone appreciates this turkey!

First card with the cricut. Thank you cricut. I love you

background is cuttlebug swiss dots. I love cuttlebug too, but my cricut is newer, and therefore way more fun.
